Course objectives: Focus on Pregnancy, Labour, and Postpartum Period
Review of basic DNS principles, anatomy of pelvic floor organs, and kinesiology of the pelvic floor.
Specific group exercises for patients with PF dysfunction.
Physiological changes and physical activity during pregnancy from the view of a physiotherapist.
Treatment protocol of the postural locomotion system during pregnancy.
Preparation for labor and prevention of birth trauma from the view of a physiotherapist.
Exercises for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd periods of labor.
Specific group exercises for pregnant patients.
Postpartum treatment protocol and physical activity. Pelvic floor care.
Scar management. Soft tissue, “active scar” treatment using barrier phenomenon according to Lewit.
Treatment for diastasis recti.
Specific group exercises for the postpartum period.
Basic principles of physiological baby handling.

Prague School registration fee helps to support DNS scientific activities, to collect new video/photo material, to develop the DNS handouts and publishing activities, to present the DNS system at the scientific congresses, and to present the DNS concept online. |
It is not a payment for the course. Please contact the local organizer to secure your enrollment in the course and make sure that the course is not full, prior to paying Prague School registration fee. Once your PS fee is completed, your registration will automatically be sent to the course organizer. After that, payment of course fees can be made with the organizer. The organizer reserves the right to request proof of licensure.
The Prague School registration fee is non-refundable.
Without your online registration and PS fee payment you will not be permitted to attend any DNS course nor will you receive the Prague School Certificate of Attendance; thus you cannot take the DNS test and you will not be allowed to register for later advanced courses.
