Course Objectives Strength Training Courses
This is a special 2 day DNS-ST1 course for only those with prior DNS experience. All attendees must have successfully completed an official DNS course. This is NOT an introductory course. DNS ST1 is designed for both strength training and medical professionals with the singular focus of equipping attendees with the skills to effectively apply the powerful concepts of DNS to traditional strength training movements such as pressing, pulling, hinging and squatting. This is not a rehab course. This is a course in which the powerful principles of DNS are applied to strength training.
In this course, we briefly review DNS concepts to the attendees and cover application of these concepts to common strength training movements such as the deadlift, barbell press, and the squat. All movements in this course are bilateral and symmetrically loaded.
Because this is a 2 day format, the vast majority of the course will focus on strength training movement. We will review DNS exercises, but will not have time to cover them thoroughly
Attendees MUST have prior DNS experience. It is highly advised that attendees be familiar with traditional strength training movements such as the deadlift, barbell press, and the squat. We will not be able to teach attendees the basics of these classic movements. It is assumed that all attendees are familiar with these movements.
