Course objectives:

Identify key features of optimal shoulder girdle posture, joint centration, stabilization and function, including scapulo-humeral coordination.

Explain how developmental kinesiology influences optimal vs. non-optimal shoulder patterns and common compensations.

Perform a DNS-based assessment of the shoulder girdle (observation, key tests, movement strategy identification, and clinical prioritization).

Apply DNS manual techniques to facilitate joint centration, stabilization and appropriate muscle activation in multiple developmental positions.

Select the most appropriate developmental position for a given presentation, and progress/regress positions based on clinical findings and response.

Design and cue corrective exercise progressions for shoulder girdle control using DNS principles (dosage, progression criteria, common errors and corrections).

Apply the DNS approach to common shoulder conditions, such as subacromial pain/impingement presentations, frozen shoulder, rotator cuff tendinopathy, etc.

Use DNS for sports rehabilitation and performance training, ensuring proper shoulder girdle joint centration and trunk integration under load, speed and fatigue.

Address participant cases and Q&A using DNS clinical reasoning and practical decision-making.

Prague School Registration Fee

DNS course for clinicians with previous DNS training/experience (DNS B or Exercise-2).

Card payment

PS Registration Fee: 40 EUR

Prague School registration fee helps

to support DNS scientific activities,

to collect new video/photo material,

to develop the DNS handouts and publishing activities,

to present the DNS system at the scientific congresses, and

to present the DNS concept online.

It is not a payment for the course. Please contact the local organizer to secure your enrollment in the course and make sure that the course is not full, prior to paying Prague School registration fee. Once your PS fee is completed, your registration will automatically be sent to the course organizer. After that, payment of course fees can be made with the organizer. The organizer reserves the right to request proof of licensure.

The Prague School registration fee is non-refundable.

Without your online registration and PS fee payment you will not be permitted to attend any DNS course nor will you receive the Prague School Certificate of Attendance; thus you cannot take the DNS test and you will not be allowed to register for later advanced courses.
